Today I had a consultation with an electrologist about getting the ~*~electro~*~ on my face, and I remembered a thing...... Growing up, me and my little brother both had like eyebrow patterns that include a slight """unibrow""".
Which I guess we both found embarrassing but we dealt with it in different ways. When we were in junior high / high school, he actually asked my parents about getting electrolysis and they paid for him to get his unibrow EXTIRPATED.
I don't know how he found that solution (he researched it on the internet?) or how he found the courage to ask my parents for that. (He was so young.... Looking back now, maybe he had some kind of dysmorphia.)
What I did instead was... feel somewhat bad about it, and shave it off, w/e! But then I learned about a special little painter named Frida Kahlo. And I thot like, 'if she - a ~*~woman~*~ - can embrace this unibrow thing, which people see as ugly or masculine, then I can too :)'
And that helped to find the courage to just be like 'fuck it, this is just what my eyebrows are like' and not shave them.\n\nAnd now, even tho I've been systematically destroying all the hair on my face, I guess I will continue to just let my little furry eyebrows live! lol
